Pragati 47 identified a demand for international quality living for the foreign and domestic businessmen and executives traveling to Kolkata on extended stay. To address this demand, Pragati 47 launched a project for development of the first international quality Serviced Apartment & Shopping Mall on the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass, Kolkata.
Pragati 47 has played a key role in incubating development of a Public Private Partnership (PPP) based project for Growth Centre incorporating Social Infrastructure at Bolpur, Shantiniketan. The project comprises Senior Citizen's Serviced Residency, Serviced Apartments/Low Budget Hotel, Health Care Facility, Nurses Institute, Residential School, Business School and Non Polluting Industries over a 197 acre land parcel.
Pragati 47, through its JV Company with HUDCO - PSIDL, launched a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Company - Siddha PSIDL Township Private Limited, for development of a 312 acre Township at Jaipur with components of Housing, allied Social and Commercial infrastructure.
Pragati 47, through its JV Company with HUDCO – PSIDL, is pursuing a project for developing an AEROTROPOLIS, comprising a New Airport along with Industrial, Economic and Urban Infrastructure in the industrial belt of Asansol-Durgapur, West Bengal. The project will be developed over a 2300 acre land parcel zoned to include an Airport, an Industrial Park & IT Park and a Modern Township.

In the first phase such Composite Hubs are going to be developed at New Town Rajarhat, Haldia and Siliguri. The company has already signed a Memorandum Of Agreement with the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC) for the acquisition of the necessary 3 acre land parcels (in case of New Town Rajarhat, 5 acres) from the relevant Urban Local Bodies. |
